IMPORTANT PSA REGARDING MIND CONTROL

SO! Vriska regained her skill "mind control"!

Now okay, I am sure a whole lot of you are sitting there at your computers going "UUUUUHHH DNW" at such a god-mode-sounding-skill, so! I am here to reassure you about a few things:

1. Vriska's abilities are already significantly capped in canon in that she doesn't yet have full control over them and can only exert influence over "weak willed" or "impressionable" minds. It also requires a lot of energy and concentration on her part and she needs to practice to get good!

2. It's also speculated that her powers are significantly weaker when used cross-species. Though we're never given a clear answer as to whether it's a species thing or a distance thing, given that Vriska at the time is trying to mind-control a human from a whole galaxy away... in any case, seeing as Vriska is currently the only troll in Aather, there should be no major mind-control drama '-'.

3. I would also like to FURTHER reassure the players that OOCly I will be making use of the powercap in Aather to ensure that her powers, if they ARE being used, only ever actually work in a situation that is, for lack of a better term, "for the lulz." They will never work inside The Ring or any game situation period, and I would like to exercise extreme caution in ever using them for anything other than occasional lulz-- and be reassured that even then I would ALWAYS, ALWAYS be contacting players beforehand to check. I may make exceptions for serious situations in the event that the other party and I have talked it over extensively beforehand and agreed that this is the course of action we both desire, IF the scenario should ever arise.

IN THAT VEIN, obviously this is an OPT IN thing! So:

If you've read the above and think you would be okay with your character being mind-controlled by Vriska for lulzy shenanigans or otherwise, please comment here telling me! If you want, it'd be cool if you could also include:

A) The extent to which you're okay with it (eg: "I'm okay with silly little things like doing the macarena for five seconds" or "I'm okay with anything") and,
B) The extent to which your character could actually be susceptible to it in the first place. Basically, the more strong-willed someone is, the less likely Vriska would be able to get any hold over them for any length of time anyway.

I AM ALL FOR occasional lulz with Yukio OR Mal! They are both strong-willed though, so likely it will only happen after hilarious amounts of concentration orrrrr them specifically trying to let their guards down.

I'm okay with stuff with Ven! Ven and willpower get interesting...he is very squishy and impressionable on the surface, so she would have no problem getting him to do the macarena for five seconds, but when you get down to serious stuff, especially if it involved messing with others, he is actually a lot tougher than he seems. Ripped apart his own heart without hesitation to save the world, etcetera.

Mark is very high willpower and very unlikely to ever trust her enough to let his guard down, so.

Kite and Sasuke are very strong-willed and it might not work on Sasuke, though. BUY YOU COULD DO SILLY STUFF TO KITE IF YOU WANT.

B) IT DEPENDS. He tends to be more on the strong-willed side but he has his moments of gullibility. Vriska is his teammate though which means he is gonna be more relaxed, off guard around her anyway, though.
